This mid century modern house was dark and facing away from greeting those who arrived.The Kitchen addition was faced to greet those arriving and to create a place for the owner's pottery including large plates on the fireplace brick. There was no easy connection to the outdoors which was solved by the angle and the introduction of a deck off the Kitchen.
