Broadview

This sandstone veneered mid-century home was purchased from the second owner and had a giant lawn and a few bushes next to the house as was common for that period. A courtyard and new porch were created, the plants moved, and new plants and hard landscaping were added to give the house a better connection to its site, provide some privacy from the street, and reinvigorate its styling with new elements such as the screens. Off the rear of the house the "Baby Crib" deck was removed and a 9' wide slider were added so a new deck could connect the yard to the Family Room. Re-use of existing native vegetation and new landscape design welcomed all sorts of wildlife and created new vistas to the west now that you don't have slats to peer through.
